Sectionals must be completed by Saturday, September 26, 2020.
Four Sectionals (West, Middle, Southeast, and Upper East) will be held across the state with the qualifiers advancing to the State Championships. Due to the differing number of schools participating in each meet, the following will be the number of qualifiers from each sectional to the state meet:
Upper East & Southeast will advance 26 qualifiers (top three teams and the five next best times) from each classification
West will advance 19 qualifiers (top two teams and the five next best times) from each classification
Middle will advance 52 qualifiers (top six teams and the ten next best times) from each classification
Meet directors should review the full cross country regulations.
Gate money and vendor sales shall be kept by the host school to pay expenses. TMSAA will provide $200 for the timer after an invoice is sent to the state office from the sectional host site. Host schools may also handle negotiations with a t-shirt vendor. In order to use the TMSAA logo, schools should contract with Eagle Sportz by calling (770) 607-6611.
