The seventh TMSAA Basketball State Championships took place this past weekend at Stewarts Creek High & Middle School and Rockvale High & Middle School in Rutherford County. The tournament featured the four sectional winners from each classification, competing over two days. Semifinal games were held on Friday night, followed by third-place and championship matchups on Saturday.
In Class A girls' competition, Rogersville City School won the championship with a strong 72-19 victory over Jackson Careers & Technology. Moore County Middle secured third place with a 39-29 win over Englewood. For Class A Boys, Unity Middle earned the title in a close 42-40 victory over West Junior High, while Coalfield took third place by defeating Ridgeview 41-31.

Class A Girls' Tournament
North Cumberland claimed the Class AA girls' championship with a 53-38 win over Alcoa, while Dyersburg secured third place by defeating Memphis Business Academy 51-36. In the boys' division, Vine Middle narrowly defeated Avery Trace Middle 36-34 to win the championship, and Bellevue-Memphis took third place with a 48-41 victory over Crestview.

Class AA Girls' Tournament
In Class AAA, West Valley earned the girls' championship with a 41-30 victory over Woodland Middle, while Mt. Juliet Middle secured third place by defeating Houston 51-34. On the boys' side, Elmore Park Middle captured its third consecutive championship with a 53-42 win over Richview. Page clinched third place with a narrow 49-47 victory over Bearden.
