The Tennessee Middle School Athletic Association (TMSAA) recently hosted its 2nd Annual Volleyball State Championship at Brentwood High and Middle Schools on October 10th and 11th. This year’s event featured 16 teams, split evenly between Class A and Class AA, all competing for the prestigious state title.
The competition began on Thursday with a day of intense pool play, as teams fought for top rankings. After a series of hard-fought matches, the teams were seeded into brackets for the championship rounds on Friday.
2024 Middle School Volleyball Championship
In Class A, Northview-Newbern secured the championship by defeating West Greene with scores of 25-21 and 25-9. In Class AA, Brentwood Middle triumphed over Liberty Creek, winning their final match 25-16 and 25-20.

The championship showcased outstanding skill and determination, with athletes and coaches demonstrating exceptional sportsmanship throughout the event. Each match was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the participants.
