Congratulations on qualifying for the TSSAA Middle School Soccer State Championships! Below is pertinent information for preparing for the tournament. Should you have any questions leading up to the event, please contact Joe Blair, Jblair@tssaa.org.
The 2026 TSSAA Middle School Soccer State Championships will take place on May 13-14 at Richard Siegel Soccer Complex in Murfreesboro. All Semifinal and Consolation games will take place on the turf football field. The Championship will be in the stadium which is a grass field.
All Teams will be guaranteed two games. Semifinals will be played on Wednesday and championship and consolation games will be played on Thursday.
Admission Prices (per day)
Advance Tickets are $10 per person on GoFan.
Cash Tickets at the gate are $12 per person.
Everyone age 5 and older must purchase a ticket.
TACA Cards will be honored when presented with a matching photo ID.
The TSSAA ID Card will NOT be accepted for admission.
The GoFan School Administrator Championship pass will be accepted.
Parking -
There is no Parking Fee.
Team Arrival - Participating teams need to arrive as one party at the team entrance. The head coach will need to pick up the team packet. Each team will be allowed free admittance for no more than 22 players, a manager, and all coaches who are registered with TSSAA. Please note that your school will be invoiced through the TSSAA Portal for any additional persons entering with the team party. Teams should plan to arrive no earlier than one hour prior to their first match. Gates will open at 6:00pm CT on Wednesday for Semifinals and 9:00am CT on Thursday of the championship. There are no dressing rooms on site so teams should arrive dressed to play.
Team Bench Area - The home team will be listed first/on the top of the bracket. The home team will be on the left and visiting team will be on the right as you stand at midfield.
Warm-ups- Warm-up balls will NOT be provided. Teams playing in the first game of the day can report directly to the game field. All other teams will be given access to the Seigel Park Soccer Field for warm-ups before accessing the game field. Teams will be guaranteed 20 minutes of warm-up time on the game field. A game administrators meeting between the referee, team captains, and coaches will be held at 5:00 on the pregame clock.
Ball chasers - We ask that each team provide two ball chasers for each game they participate in.
Sports Medicine - An athletic trainer will be present. Those wishing to be taped should provide their own tape.
Concessions - Concession stands at Seigel Park will be open selling food and beverages throughout the championships. No outside food or drink will be allowed.
Game Ball - Wilson is the official ball sponsor of TSSAA. The state championship games will be played with the following ball: Wilson NCAA Vivido
Overtime Procedures - For postseason play, the two 5-minute overtime periods will not be Sudden Victory. If at the conclusion of the two 5-minute overtime periods a tie still exists, then the tie shall be broken with the penalty kick procedure outlined in the NFHS Soccer Rules Book.
Mercy Rule (Goal Differential) - After a 5-goal differential has been reached, the game clock shall run continuously except for heat timeouts and injuries. For the remainder of the game, the clock will continue to run continuously except for heat timeouts and injuries, regardless of the goal differential. If a 9-goal differential has been reached at halftime or at any time during the second half, the game shall be terminated.
Awards - The following awards will be distributed to participating teams:
1st Place: Champion team trophy, champion coach’s plaque, 20 champion team medals
2nd Place: Runner-up team trophy, runner-up coach’s plaque
3rd Place: 3rd place team trophy

TSSAA Championship Merchandise - Northwest Designs is the official merchandise provider for the TSSAA. Northwest Designs will be on-site selling TSSAA Championship t-shirts and other championship paraphernalia. Merchandise can also be purchased online.

NFHS Live Streaming - All Championships on Thursday will be live-streamed via the NFHS Network. These matches will also be available on demand after the championships. Please be sure to share the streaming link with those who cannot attend.
