The TMSAA held four middle school state championship events in Middle Tennessee between May 14-18. For the first time, TMSAA partnered with the Tennessee Middle School Golf Association (TMSGA) for a middle school golf postseason that culminated with 6 TMSAA schools participating in a state championship on May 14th at Harpeth Hills Golf Club in Nashville. After 18 holes, Dickson Middle School boys and Greeneville Middle School girls emerged as the first TMSAA Golf State Champions. Other participating teams included Lake Forest Middle School and Tennessee Middle School boys' teams, and White Co. Middle School and Ross N. Robinson Middle School girls' teams.
2024 TMSAA Golf State Champions
Eight baseball and eight softball teams participated in a state championship in Sumner County that was consolidated into one day due to weather. Semifinals, championships, and consolation games were played in both Class A & AA on May 16th. Baseball games were split between Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville and Municipal Park in Gallatin. Martin Middle School defeated Unicoi Co. Middle School 9-1 for the Class A baseball title, with Burns Middle School earning third place honors with an 11-2 victory over Cherokee Middle School. In Class AA baseball, E.O. Coffman won the championship game over Tennessee Middle School 8-0. West Collierville Middle School defeated Algood Middle School 10-0 for third place.
2024 TMSAA Class A Baseball State Champions
Softball games were moved to Veterans Park in Hendersonville. Summertown Middle School was crowned the Class A champions after beating Northview Middle School - Newbern 6-3 in the championship game. Unicoi Middle School took home the 3rd place trophy with a 6-4 victory over Chattanooga Middle School for the Liberal Arts. Oakland Middle School earned the Class AA title, winning 6-1 over West Wilson Middle School. Tennessee Middle School outlasted Houston Middle School 16-14 for third-place honors.
2024 TMSAA Class AA Softball State Championships
Track & Field individual and team state champions were crowned at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville on May 18th. 650 individuals from 177 member schools qualified for the competition, which featured four field events and nine running events in Class A and AA. The team champions and runners-up were as follows:
